—SOLD— 2005 Ultravia Pelican PL

The Ultravia Pelican PL is a two-seat experimental aircraft in the Very Light Aircraft Category.  Maximum Take-Off Mass is 637 kg. With an empty weight of 411 kg, it gives a very comfortable useful load of 226 kg.

Wings and tail are aluminium, fuselage is constructed from reinforced epoxy which means that the noise levels inside the aircraft are relatively low. Visibility is excellent and the seats are adjustable, giving the pilot and passenger ample room. Cabin heating is excellent making this Pelican an “all year round” aeroplane. Flaps are electrically operated.

The engine is a reliable 100 HP Rotax 912ULS giving a cruise speed of 80-105 knots at a fuel consumption of 11-15 liters per hour. MoGas or RON98 is the fuel type but the Rotax will also run om AvGas. Endurance is 5 hours with 1 hour of reserves. Fuel capacity is 90 liters. Total time on airframe and engine is 725 hours. TBO on the engine is 2000 hours, plenty of time remaining.

A Woodcomp 3 bladed constant speed propeller is fitted, electrically adjustable.

The Pelican is easy to fly with very docile stall characteristics. Operational costs are low
